The Most Nurtured hosts Community Breathes Yoga + Meditation series which are instructed by and exclusively for Black women.
This is a LGBTQ+ and trans-inclusive, anti-oppressive, and anti-colonial space.
The upcoming series is every Wednesday of August 2019 (6:30 - 7:30 pm) at a new location, the Institute for Traditional Medicine (553 Queen Street West), downtown close to the intersection of Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue.

This 4-class series instructed by Erin Mensch is focused on weekly 45-minute strengthening and breath-focused yoga classes followed by a 15-minute guided meditation to cultivate rest and a greater state of calm. Classes start strong with longer holds to strengthen and then gradually slow down to promote coolness and introspection.
This series is open to all levels, no experience is required! You are welcome to drop-in for individual classes or the full series.
